For one Paul Kihuha a class 8 dropout, he makes up to KSH 100,000/- daily from his garage. In a previous interview, the gifted young man proudly identified himself as the founder of Protisa, a business that creates film equipment from scratch.
He described his journey, saying that it had not been a bed of roses because he had dropped out of primary school at an early age.
Kihuha's ambition to follow in the footsteps of his father, a blacksmith all his life, was piqued by the request. The young boy gladly accepted his friend's invitation, eager for the chance to hone his trade.
Kihuha began as a simple technician making jikos and vibandas for locals, which to him was more of a pastime.

He then made the decision to try his luck as a rapper in the music business. This, however, did not work because the production cost made it unaffordable to make a music video. However, the major uproar gave rise to the notion of creating film equipment.
He started constructing camera cranes to hone his technique further and sold them for a staggering Ksh90,000. He was taken aback by the idea of how far his talent may take him.
He made the decision to move out of his friend's workshop and open up his own garage in Uthiru, where he had moved and where the creations of Protisa came to life. Because he is their ninth child, his full name, Project Tisa, refers to him as the ninth child.
He can earn Ksh100,000 from repeat and devoted customers on a good day, if you do your calculations that is a staggering KSH 3Million.
