Duke Mainga, the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at the Commodities Fund, has reached out to offer assistance to the controversial singer, Chris Mosioma, famously known as Embarambamba, who recently encountered a challenging situation.
Embarambamba, originally from Kisii, voiced his challenges, citing an inability to cover the fuel expenses for his motorcycle to return home after performing at various events in Nairobi.
Mainga, also known as Echate, took to his Facebook page to share this development, expressing genuine concern for Embarambamba's predicament. He recounted how the singer visited his office, expressing frustrations about being stranded in Nairobi due to insufficient funds to fuel his motorbike for the journey back to Kisii.
"It's disheartening to see such a prominent artist still reliant on a motorbike for long-distance travel and struggling to afford even a modest sum of 3,000 shillings for fuel. This situation is deeply concerning," Mainga articulated.
He underscored the importance of discontinuing the exploitation of artists and advocated for swift action to effectively manage Embarambamba's affairs.
"Let's cease exploiting our artists. Moreover, it's crucial to implement proper management practices for him," Mainga emphasized.
