Details of Pastor Ezekiel Odero’s 65 - Acre Property in Kilifi

A crowd-pulling televangelist pastor Ezekiel Odero opened the door for the media to enter the expansive 65-acre property that belongs to New Life Church, which he founded.

According to the renowned pastor, the multi-million dollar investment in Mavueni, Kilifi County, is expected to transform the area into a self-sufficient neighbourhood with a number of social amenities.

In accordance with his words, the man of God built a megachurch on 10% of the property, the New Life Church which sits on 6 hectares of land.

One of the numerous hotels slated to occupy a portion of the property is almost finished. It will coexist with other buildings, such as malls and supermarkets.

Speaking to a local media outlet, the Mavueni-based pastor noted that one of the most difficult things he has had to accept is that he can never find time with even his own children due to his busy schedule.

The approximately 45,000-person church occupies a 6-acre plot of land and is constantly full each week.

The preacher acknowledged during the discussion of his way of life that he had given his entire life to serving God and was unable to complete his education. 

The pastor, who is one of the most well-liked preachers, said that seeing people recover from illness and find salvation is the only thing that brings him joy.

Additionally, a number of residential buildings will be constructed on the 65-hectare property, giving its residents access to an international school and university.

A hospital and a rehabilitation facility are additional amenities. To accommodate its devotees, the church will construct cottages and a helipad.
