Unconvential Designer Edwin Chiloba Found Dead

The unconventional fashion designer Edwin Chiloba who is known for his fashion designs and an activist of the LGBTQ community is found dead.

Police in Uasin Gishu have started an investigation into the passing of LGBTQ activist and fashion model Edwin Chiloba.

Police suspect that his body may have been left there after being killed elsewhere.

Along the Kipenyo-Kaptinga road near Kapsaret, Chiloba's body was discovered hidden inside a metal box.

According to a boda boda rider who was interrogated by police, the metallic box was dropped by a car before it left the scene.

After learning of the incident, police on duty at a nearby roadblock hurried to the location and discovered Chiloba's body.

His remains were sent to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital to await an autopsy.

Kenyans have taken to social media to mourn him.

Chiloba was headquartered in Eldoret, where he also pursued the rights of the LGBTQ community while operating his fashion label, Chiloba Designs.
