Sonko Visits Jewelry Shop to Prove His Gold Bling is Real

Kileleshwa MCA  Robert Alai has been provoking Mike Sonko on social media leading to a series of cyber-attacks on both sides and since then they have been conflicting with back-and-forth exchanges on social media on whether Sonko's Jewelry is actually true or not.

On Thursday, the former Governor released a video of him going to his local Jewelry store, Nairobi, to prove to Robert Alai that his Gold is real.

In the video a gold jewellery vendor confirmed that the jewellery was worth ksh 7.2 million and he, later insulted Alai and told him that 'his gold is genuine', but despite the video, Robert Alai commented on the video released on Facebook, 'Bring them to me. I will spend a week testing them in River Nyando.'

It all started when Robert Alai, began to make statements on Governor Sonko's video, which was released two weeks ago showing the former governor showing off his money which caused a lot of hate on social media with many criticizing him on showing off his wealth.

Alai criticized Sonko for his actions in a tweet that included a repost of the video. He continued by telling the former County Boss to never seek validation of his wealth from social media.

“The fact that you can operate a camera and display a ward of cash doesn't make you rich. You can be having some loads of cash while upstairs, wewe ni maskini wa ki akili"  MCA Alai said.
