Shakib Cham Responds To Claims He Was Married Before

Shakib, Zari Hassan's new lover, has responded to reports that he was already married before meeting the South African socialite. Shakib posted pictures of himself relaxing in a jacuzzi on his Instagram feed and a coded message warning followers not to believe everything they read online.

"None of these social media s**t matters. Be a solid and good person in real life…," he shared.

A Ugandan woman living in America by the name of Nalule Shamirah Sembatya, often known as Mimi, accused the socialite of stealing her husband Shakib Lutaaya in December 2022. Marriage records Mimi presented show that she and Shakib were married in June 2016. She said that since they did not obtain a divorce, she is still legally Shakib's wife.

Mimi continued by saying that in May 2017—a year after their marriage—she allegedly processed a US visa for her husband, giving him a number of perks. The Ugandan now says that Shakib left their marital home to follow the reality TV actress because she is more successful and well-known after being seduced by Zari. In response to the allegations, Zari Hassan stated that the purported wife was clout chasing.

"Clout chasers," Zari wrote.

In March 2022, shortly after she dumped South African-based moneybags GK Choppa, Zari began socializing in public with Shakib.
