Kenyans are still having a hard time accepting the 35-year-old journalist Moses Okiror Omusolo of the Standard Group's passing. On Thursday morning, his lifeless body was discovered in a ditch with a severe head wound. It has since been revealed that he had been given clearance to get ready for his February 2023 wedding. He passed away while not performing his job.

According to the police, they believe he was slain elsewhere and the body was placed there. Police were informed by locals that a body was lying on the side of the road next to Superloaf Company. The right side of Omusolo's head had a severe cut that was pouring blood, according to the police, who claimed to have investigated the incident. Personal documents found in a black backpack found next to the deceased allowed for his identification. Police stated that they do not yet know the murder's motive or potential perpetrators.

The body was transported to the mortuary pending autopsy as part of the investigation, according to Nairobi police chief Adamson Bungei. "A body with a head injury and documents identifying him was found on the side of the road. We are looking at it," said Bungei. Omusolo had been residing in the nearby Umoja region, which is also the location where the body was discovered.
