In response to the departure of comedian turned presenter Oga Obinna, media personality Chito Ndholovu reveals that he will fill the void on Kiss FM’S Morning show, alongside Sheila Kwamboka.
This was revealed in an interview, where he expressed his gratitude for being part of the Radio Africa Group, particularly the breakfast show.
Ndholovu pointed out that the proposal to fill Obinna's shoes, came in at an unexpected time, causing a squabble with management over when he should begin and what the show's expectations were bearing in mind that he was hosting the drive show.
Regardless, he is immensely excited about the assignment entrusted to him.
“They called me one morning and asked for a meeting where we had a back and forth on the matter. It was about when I should start and the plans for the show. I would be lying if I said it wasn't a dream of mine to host the breakfast show. So, it's exciting,” he stated.
Speaking of his relationship with his fellow host-to-be, Sheila Kwamboka, he stated that they had previously built a working relationship when she joined the Radio Africa Group, and he is confident that the transition will be smooth for the duo.
Chito had been hosting Kiss FM's drive show for the past two years before announcing his move to the Kiss FM Breakfast Show.
“As I move to something new, I am reminded that he who has begun a good work in you is able to see it to fruition. Never forget, silence is golden, speech is silver and I am The Golden Voice,” he noted.
Chito Ndholovu is believed to have worked in the media industry for nearly ten years.
