Jeff Mwathi's Family Refused My Assistance - DJ Faxto
Mugithi artist Lawrence Njuguna better known as DJ Fatxo breaks silence following the sad demise of 23-year-old Interior designer Geoffrey Mwathi.
During a press conference, DJ Fatxo revealed that he was the one who reached out to Police officers and Geoffrey’s family upon hearing of his passing.
Despite his best efforts to engage with the family in mourning one of their own, they did not respond as he had anticipated.
“There is this issue going on that I did not mourn the death of Jeff. I reached out to his family, I'm the one who actually contacted them and told them that Jeff is no more. I also had the intention to assist with the burial arrangements but I did not get any response."
He continued by saying that he attempted to contact Mwathi's relatives with the assistance of his mother, but all efforts were unsuccessful.
“I told my mother, can you please call one of the family members and request them to accept our help,” he stated.
The well-known performer has told Kenyans that, up until the incident's true cause is revealed, he will cooperate with the law enforcement authorities and everyone else engaged in the case.
The deceased is reported to have jumped from DJ Fatxo’s Redwood Apartments around Safari Park Estate from the 12th floor and succumbed.
DCI officers from the homicide department have assured the public that the matter will be resolved promptly while urging those with relevant information to come forth and share.
