Uganda's dancers dubbed Ghetto kids are the new talk of town having amazed the world with their talent on Britain’s Got Talent.
The kids from the Pearl of Africa danced their way to the judges's hearts earning them a place in the semi-finals.
The group of kids auditioned on April 15th and entered the stage filled with joy and excitement waiting to show off their talent on the global stage.
“We are from Uganda Kampala Africa so we are going to dance for you guys (audience) and for you Judges,” one of the kids said as they redied themselves to perform in front of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli on the judge’s panel this season.
The moment they started to perform the audience and Judges were left amazed and only had happy expressions watching a masterpiece on stage. During their mid-performance, Judge Bruno Tonioli couldn’t hold his excitement anymore and pressed the Golden buzzer sending the kids to the semi-finals of the competition but that didn’t stop the dancers from finishing their performance ending the performance on a stronger note.
From then on the Ghetto Kids surprised and took the world by storm keeping the global audience hooked and waiting for their next performance in the competition.
Ghetto kids cruised through the semi-finals as the first act to reach the finals.
Despite their captivating performance, the group didn’t win the competition as the Norwegian comedian took first place and Second place went to 13-year-old dancer Lilliana Clifton, while 14-year-old magician Cillian O’Connor came third.
The finals held on 4th June 2023 featured the contestants Ghetto Kids, Malakai Bayoh, Duo Odyssey, Musa Motha, Amy Lou, Viggo Venn, Olivia Lynes, Travis George, Cillian O’Connor, Lillianna Clifton.
The group of six children aged between six and thirteen years old are called the Ghetto Kids, already a known group internationally having performed in the World Cup Qatar 2022.
