Eric Omondi Refunds CS Moses Kuria KSH 126K After Embarrassment

Comedian Eric Omondi has reimbursed Trade CS Moses Kuria’s money he spent on supporting his trip to the United States. The Trade Cabinet Secretary had expressed regrets for funding the trip on National TV.

Taking to his Instagram, the Renowned comedian who has turned into an activist shared a screenshot saying he needs to be respected now that he had refunded the money.

Eric confessed that it is true that CS Kuria helped him at the time in a TikTok video that has gone viral online.

The comedian, however, also expressed his thankfulness to God for his many favours.

On June 8, as the Finance Bill 2023 was being discussed, CS Kuria expressed regret for having sponsored Eric Omondi's travel to the US.

He planned for the journey to broaden Eric's outlook and expose him to the globe. However, he appeared to be upset that Eric opposed the recommendations in the Finance Bill 2023.

CS Kuria went on to say that his experiences traveling throughout the world had given him a broader view than Eric Omondi.

He provided examples of successful countries, highlighting the importance of Kenya learning from them and taking strong steps to solve concerns such as food security.
