Comedian Oga Obinna Quits Kiss FM A Year After Replacing Jalang’o

Oga Obinna, a comedian and media personality, has left Kiss FM after a year.

The controversial media personality and comedian opted not to renew his contract with Radio Africa this is according to a local media outlet that he spoke to.

In the Interview, the comedian noted that his last day at the giant media house that houses Kiss FM was Monday last week.

The comedian who has transitioned into a broadcaster thanked Radio Africa for providing him the opportunity to work with them over the past year.

"I've left Kiss, you know. My contract is over now... I had a wonderful experience, realized my ambition, and accomplished all of my goals. And going forward, everything I do will be extra.” the funny man told the local media outlet.

Before formally leaving the firm, Obinna revealed during the interview that he was completing his clearance with Radio Africa Group.

“I've been trying to be on Kiss since 2013, and guess what? In 2022, I was given the morning program on Kiss FM.” Obinna Said.

The Comedian was selected to replace the now Lang’ata member of parliament Phelix Odiwuor Alias Jalang’o after he resigned to vie for the Lang’ata Member of parliament position.

It is understood that Obinna did not state his next move but sources say he will now partly concentrate on his content creation career. A path that has been taken by the likes of Andrew Kibe who left Kiss FM and Jalang’o.
