Ahmed Ololade popularly known as Asake had a concert that recently ended in tears.

Four people are in serious condition after an alleged crush during the Bandana hit-song maker’s concert at the Brixton O2 Academy in south London that left eight people hospitalized.

Police were called in response to reports of numerous people attempting to run their way inside the facility.

According to investigators, several persons were discovered with injuries that were likely brought on by crushing.

During the performance by the Afro-pop artist Asake on Thursday at 21:35 GMT, police were sent there.

A sizable throng is seen forming outside the venue on social media, and one user claimed on Twitter that more than 1,000 people showed up without tickets. The throng, which can be seen screaming, shouting, and battling, can be seen stretching from the road outside the venue to its doors.

"I live here and the crowd - there are always crowds coming out of the Brixton Academy - but last night was more crowds than I'd ever seen." Ruth the eyewitness said.

Cordons are still in place and an inquiry has been started at the Stockwell Road location. There have been no detentions.
