One of Citizen TV's best journalists has left the station, which is owned by Royal Media Services (RMS), due to the recent exodus at the Dennis Pritt-road located media house.
According to information reaching Look Up Digital desk, journalist Sam Ogina quietly left Citizen TV towards the end of the previous year.
Ogina has a new position in the National Assembly Majority Leader's office, according to a verified source confined to the Look Up Digital desk.
“Yes, it's true Sam left Citizen TV two months ago after landing a role at the PSC.” The source confirmed.

The former KTN reporter left Citizen TV late last year, but his colleagues at Royal Media Services gave him a proper send-off at a joint party with Francis Gachuri, who also left the station on March 2, 2023.
The final party was held in Nairobi's Kilimani neighbourhood.
Ogina departs Citizen TV after 6 years where he worked as a reporter and was instrumental in covering the 2022 general elections.
He is a graduate of Daystar University who recently worked for the media company on Dennis Pritt Road, previously worked for KTN from 2012 to 2016.
The renowned Journalist now joins the group of journalists who have left the newsroom in search of positions in the government.
Kennedy Murithi, Salim Swaleh, Nick Gitonga, Charles Odhiambo, Karen Karimi, and most recently Francis Gachuri are other people who have accepted positions in various government agencies with the media facing uncertainty with the rise of the Digital space rendering most journalists redundant.
