It was one of the worst outages since Elon Musk purchased Twitter, according to site monitors, as people from all around the world experienced difficulties accessing it for several hours.

Since then, thousands of staff members, including engineers, have been let go or dismissed, raising questions about Twitter's capacity to quickly fix outages and technical issues.

Since the controversial billionaire completed his $44 billion acquisition in October and moved aggressively to cut costs, Twitter has been engulfed in pandemonium.

Thousands of employees -- including engineers -- have since been fired or quit, raising concerns about Twitter's ability to quickly fix outages and technical problems.

The monitor recorded between a few hundred and several thousand reports from various nations.

After the huge layoffs impacted the content moderation and misinformation teams, concerns have grown about user safety on the network in addition to concerns about its technical operations.

Further controversy erupted when Twitter permitted banned users to rejoin the service, including former US President Donald Trump, who had been thrown off during the Capitol building siege on January 6, 2021.

Down-Detector recorded more than 10,000 complaints in the US during the height of the outage, which appeared to be ending as of 0400 GMT, while the hashtag #TwitterDown was trending on the social media site. The monitor recorded between a few hundred and several thousand reports from various nations.

The South African-born billionaire has said his severe cost cuts at Twitter have saved the company and announced last week that he would step down as CEO once he finds "someone foolish enough to take the job.”

What if Elon Musk let down his guard and act as a team player more than his position, will twitter then be back to where it was or even more the best media platform where people air their views?

Or right sells the platform to someone who is capable to get returns than minus them?
