Girl ‘Pregnant' for two years fully recovers

A young girl bullied for looking pregnant for two years has been given a second chance at normal life after a life-changing operation at the Nairobi Hospital.

The unnamed girl from Masinga, Machakos County got the condition in 2021 that later filled her belly with a liquid that made it swell making her look pregnant.

She stayed with the condition for two years until the family was able to raise the money that was needed for her surgery at Kenyatta National Hospital.

According to the twitter handle report belonging to Brendan Owino, doctors were able to drain 5 litres of the liquid from her belly.

The girl has now fully recuperated and was expected to report to school Wednesday this week.
