The prize for "Best Company in Food Security" went to Dangote Sugar Refinery (DSR), and the award for "Best Company in Gender Equality/Women Empowerment" went to Dangote Salt Plc, commonly known as NASCON Plc.

The Dangote group just won the prestigious "Overall Most Responsible Business" Award at the 16th edition of the Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, and Responsibility Awards, shortly after Dangote increased his net worth by 1.5 billion dollars (SERAS).

Three other accolades, including "The Best Company in Reporting & Transparency," went to Dangote's subsidiaries in addition to the overall Most Responsible Business Award, which was received by Dangote Cement Plc.

The Oriental Hotel in Lekki, Lagos, served as the venue for the award presentation. Business executives and stakeholders from the industrial sector filled the room, the majority of whom had submitted a record 151 entries for awards in 26 categories.

The company had a good night because it brought home a total of four awards. This victory follows a rise in revenue production within the Dangote company. The corporation also intends to increase production through the renovation of outdated facilities, the establishment of new companies, and the pursuit of greener energy sources.

A few months ago, Dangote was successful in getting one of its significant plants back from the Kogi State government, which had taken possession of it due to an alleged case of business fraud.

Since then, Dangote has only had good news as his factories have recorded exceptional profit margins, boosting his already amazing net worth.

Since its inception in 2007, SERAS has drawn more than 1,242 entries from more than 300 organizations, making it Africa's premier sustainability prize.
