Meru Killer Bus Was Party On Wheels

New details have emerged that the bus involved in the road accident along Isiolo- Meru road, killing twelve people, was not just any common bus but a mobile luxury mini club. The bus was a customized luxury party minibus for party lovers who enjoy such outings. The now disastrous bus was reportedly overtaking another vehicle when it hit a fourteen- seater matatu before crashing into a trailer. Eleven people died on the spot including the bus driver while one succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment in hospital.

Sirisia Member of Parliament John Waluke will have to serve a sixty-seven-year prison sentence. The High Court being led by judge Esther Maina declined to set aside his conviction on Thursday, October 6 2022. MP Waluke was found guilty over a two hundred and ninety-seven million Kenyan shillings scandal involving the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB). The Member of Parliament alongside his business associate Grace Wakhungu were sentenced for more than forty years each but were granted the option of paying fines in excess of one billion Kenyan shillings.
