Woman Sets House on Fire After Husband Brings Home a Second Wife
A 43 year old woman in Ematiha area Navakholo Constituency in Kakamega County has shocked residents after she set her matrimonial house on fire.
Florence Karakacha is said to have taken the action following an argument with neighbors claiming she was angered by her husband’s move to marry a second wife.
The woman was later arrested by police officers on allegations of burning her husband's house.
According to the suspect's son, Rayton Lubanga, her mother allegedly attacked his father, Bramwel Lubanga, who seemed relaxed and not willing to be confronted.
According to their neighbor Samwel Amambia, the suspect Florence Karakacha had on several occasions threatened to do bizarre things that would shock residents.
The residents have defended the 52 year old man claiming he married a second wife following strange behaviors of the accused.
According to Navakholo OCPD Richard Omanga, the suspect is being detained at the station as investigations into the matter commence.
