The first manager to be sacked this season is Scott Parker of Bournemouth on August 30th after an embarrassing defeat of 9-0 by Liverpool, which is one of the highest defeats in Premier League history.
Chelsea happens to fire two managers this season. Thomas Tuchel was fired just thirty-three days after the English Premier League campaign after a 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League clash. Tuchel was replaced by Graham Potter who was also sacked recently due to consistently poor performance.
Antonio Conte is also in the list of the managers who lost their jobs after leaving Tottenham Hotspurs after a mutual agreement between him and the club chairman Danny Levy. Conte went through gallbladder surgery and he was out of the touchline for a couple of weeks, after returning Conte and the club management made a decision of parting ways.
Former Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers was sacked by Leicester City on April 2nd after lows and highs with the club even bringing the FA cup glory to the club in the year 2021.
Other managers that got fired with the seasons includes Patrick Viera of Crystal Palace, Nathan Jones and Ralph Hassenhutll of Southampton, Jose March of Leeds United, Frank Lampard of Everton, Steven Gerrard of Aston Villa and Bruno Lage of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Many questions have been and are being asked by football fans; Why have managers been sacked this season? Recently the way of play has really changed to modern football. In addition, club management gets pressure from the fans when clubs post wanting performance. Obviously, fans want their club to register good performance more so winning every match which is not the case in the game of football.
The use of social media also pressurizes the firing of managers. However, in recent times with modern football the coaches must come up with new ideas to post credible results and make the game more exciting.
