Speaking at a funeral service in Sirisia Constituency on Saturday, May 20th, Acting Jubilee Party Leader Sabisa Chege accused the former President Uhuru Kenyatta of engaging himself in active politics instead of offering guidance to the leader in office.
She noted that the former president should retire from active politics six months after the new president assumed office.
"We removed Uhuru Kenyatta as the leader of the Jubilee party in accordance with the law, not because someone tried to do so," she stated.
Jubilee acting SG MP Kanini Kega accused Uhuru of having his position to harass others.
Kega observed, "Uhuru Kenyatta used his position to harass others, and Waluke's persecution was political."
Sabina added that as the Jubilee Party, they fully supported President Ruto's government and won't participate in any protest led by the ODM party boss.
She said that Uhuru should give President Ruto time to do the tasks he was assigned as he had pledged when he voluntarily turned over his power apparatus to him
