Two School Buses Involved in a Grisly Road Accident in Kirinyaga

One teacher dead and 8 pupils injured in a grisly accident at Ndia area on the Kagio-Baricho road in the outskirts of Kirinyaga County.

Two school buses belonging to Trinity Academy and Kutus Municipality primary schools lost control and collided head-on.

Images shared by Ma3route on Twitter showed residents rushing to the scene to rescue the passengers on board.

The casualties were taken to the nearby hospital where they are receiving medical attention while the deceased, a schoolteacher, was ferried to the morgue.

The incident comes barely 5 days after the Pwani University Bus headed to Eldoret from Kilifi County crashed along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.
