The CAF Course C commenced yesterday and it will take place for the next 30 days. The training is organized by Football Kenya Federation (FKF) in partnership with Confederation Africa Football (CAF).

The course was launched by Davis Chege who is the FKF National Executive member for the Central region. He encouraged coaches to grab the opportunity and use the knowledge they get to better the coaching sector.

“This is a great chance for you as managers to get more knowledge and skills to improve the Kenyan football industry”. Says Chege.

Some of the renowned names that will receive the training includes AFC Leopards goalkeeping coach Lawrence Webo, Dorcas Mbithi who is Ulinzi Star’s assistant manager, former AFC Leopards and Harambee defender James Situma and former Kenya international Terry Ouko.

Juja Member of County Assembly Eric Gichane and Sports Academy Director John Njogu Kamau were also present during the launch.

The CAF Course C is organized just weeks after the graduation of another thirty coaches who received CAF Course D licenses. The main aim of the courses is to improve the quality of football from the local to national level all over Africa.
