Tanzanian boxer Karim Mandonga is ready to fight Kenyan boxer Daniel Wanyonyi in a curtain raiser fight for Rayton Okwiri verses Tanzania's Ally Ndaro on 14 January 2023 at KICC.

Mandonda who was speaking today at a press conference said that he will deliver the fist of fury to Kenyan boxer Daniel Wanyonyi in a rocket pocket fight tonight.

" I am here to prove myself to Kenya and show  boxing in Kenya, speaking is working both in action and in works, I am warning Wanyonyi that will punch him with a Ndoige punch," said Mandonga

The Tanzania Fighter is well known for His comical statement before the match. The 43-year-old fighter was successful last year when he defeated compatriot Said Mbelwa in a technical knockout.

On the other hand, Kenya's professional boxer Rayton  Okwiri has told Tanzania's Ally Ndaro to prepare for 10 painful rounds on Saturday at Nairobi’s KICC.

Okwiri, a former African Boxing Union Champion has been training at Kaloleni and Advanced gyms under coaches David Kiilu and Dan Shisia who is Okwiri's colleague at Kenya Prisons. He was last seen in the boxing ring in December 2019 when he successfully defended his ABU middleweight title against DRC's Augustine Matata at Nairobi's Charter Hall.

According to the sponsors charges for the much-awaited fight will be going for Ksh 500 regular, Ksh 2000 for VIP and Ksh 3000 for VVIP.
