Citizen Tv Political Editor Francis Gachuri quits Dennis Pritt road-based Media House after 15 years.

On March 1, 2023, Sources close to him, confirmed that Gachuri has been appointed as the Head of Communications at the Ministry of Interior.

On a phone call, the highly verified source affirmed that it was true that the News gang panelist will be hosting his last show, this week before reporting to the Ministry on Monday

“Yes Its True, Gachuri has quit,” The source affirmed.

By the time Look Up Digital was publishing this article, the Journalist who rose from being a “Dondaa” to a Senior Political Editor had not confirmed nor denied that he had been appointed to the Kithure Kindiki’s led Ministry of Interior. He however said that he would release a statement on the matter.

In his new post, Gachuri will be in charge of developing, implementing and assessing communication strategies that support the Ministry's effective positioning and trust-building initiatives.

At the Ministry of Interior and National Coordination, he will also oversee all internal and external communication channels.

At Citizen TV, Gachuri had a number of positions, including Editor, Senior Political Reporter and a panelist on News Gang.

Gachuri was also a show host for Citizen Tv sister station, Inooro TV,  where he hosted a show called Kiririmbi that airs from 8 to 9 p.m.
