Ruto Continues Uhuru’s Men Cleanup
President William Ruto has been unrelenting in his attempts to clean up all Uhuru Kenyatta’s men from key state positions in the government.
The latest change in the government comes at the Kenya Revenue Authority where the appointments of Susan Mudhune, Mukesh Shah, Ambassador Richard Opembe,Leonard Ithau and Charles Makori Omanga have all been revoked.
While making the announcement in a press statement dated 12th January 2023, Treasury cabinet secretary Prof. Njuguna Ndung’u failed to state the reasons for the revoking of the appointments of the officials from the board.
The president has been on a heavy drive to have his preferred appointments in key state departments as he strives to deliver on his manifesto.
Governance analysts still insist that more changes are expected in the government as the head of state looks to have more hold of government operations.
