Raila Rejects UDA Regime Calls the Ruto Presidency Illegitimate

Azimio leader Raila Odinga has said that they do not recognize William Ruto as the duly elected President.

Addressing his supporters at Kamukunji grounds, Monday 23, Odinga stated that the 2022 Presidential election results were rigged.

“We don’t recognize Mr. William Ruto as President of Kenya and we equally don’t recognize any officials in office with him,” Raila said.

The Azimio leader declared that they cannot recognize the Kenya Kwanza regime and believed the Kenya Kwanza administration to be illegitimate.

Odinga went ahead to demand that the Kenya Kwanza government resigns from office due to their inability to govern the country.

“We demand that the Kenya Kwanza government resigns it has neither the mandate nor the ability to govern the country,” he said.

"Since August 15, we have conducted our investigations and we are convinced we were robbed of our victory...our opponents beat us only in some regions in the Rift Valley," he added.

"Let us not our dream die. We know we still have hopes and it is possible," Karua stated.
