Azimio La Umoja party leader Raila Odinga announces that there will be demonstrations every Monday similar to those held in Nairobi and many parts of the country.
Speaking on Monday, March 20th in Nairobi Easteilgh area, Odinga made it known to Kenyans that this was just the beginning and that there is more to come, terming it as a ‘fight for justice’
“Every Monday there will be protests, the fight has started and won't end until Kenyans get their right,” Odinga stated.
The former Prime Minister continued by expressing gratitude to all Kenyans who participated in the mass protest in spite of what he claimed were government efforts to put a stop to it.
“Wakenya wameonyesha punda amechoka. Hata kama wameleta askari,” Odinga said.
He also promised that they would not back down until their demands were met.
The proclaimed leader was accompanied by other Azimio allies among them Martha Karua, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, Roots Party leader George Wajackoyah and Eugene Wamalwa, among others.
