President Ruto who stood before an already charged crowd at KICC during the commemoration of international women’s day was unable to start his speech for more than five minutes due to a technical hitch. The president whom today had a female aide de camp, was in a kitenge top ready for the occasion when the unfortunate happened.

Women who attended the function were forced to sing to psyche the president as the technical team led by Dennis Itumbi struggled to bring back the sound.

For a few minutes the president was forced to dance to his favourite music,’’ Tumeuona mkono wake Bwana.’’ Done by Zablon singers from Tanzania who also had a rare opportunity of gracing his inauguration at Kasarani stadium.

It was an embarrassing moment as the president openly looked disturbed even scratching his head and throwing his hands as if to ask what is wrong. Nevertheless, the microphone worked and the president continued with his speech with lots of promises.
