“Look out for those who want to abuse even the religious sector by masquerading as religious people yet what they do is contrary to the teachings and to the beliefs of the religion whether they are Christians, Muslims or any other religion,” he noted.
Additionally, the President stressed the necessity of closing these similar places of worship and prosecuting individuals like Paul Mackenzie.
“Those religious institutions should be closed down because they are working against the collective interest of the people of Kenya. Those responsible should be prosecuted.”
“People like Mackenzie and all other terrorists and criminals do not belong to any religion, they belong to jail and that is where they should be,” he added.
This comes after the Red Cross reported that a total of 112 people are still missing whereas 42 people are dead. Probe still continues.
