President Ruto Bestows State Honors On 483 Kenyans For Their Exceptional National Service.

As part of the 59th Jamhuri Day celebrations, President William Ruto recognized several Kenyans for their great service to the country in a variety of positions on Monday. Professionals from the political, armed forces, and civilian sectors were honored at the recognition ceremony in State House, Nairobi.

The highest national honor, the first class Chief of the Order of the Golden Heart (CGH), was given to His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, a spiritual figurehead of the Dawoodi Bohra community around the world, according to a gazette notification published on Monday. He received recognition for his altruistic and humanitarian initiatives in Kenya.

Along with 12 other recipients, Wafula Chebukati Wanyonyi, head of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), received the Second Class: Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart (EGH). Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Gladys Jepkosgei Boss, Majority Leader of the National Assembly Kimani Ichung'wah (Kikuyu MP), and Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi were all honored by President Ruto as members of the Third Class of the Order of the Golden Heart (MGH) (Ugunja MP). In addition to the other 5 recipients, the honor went to Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot.

MPs Robert Mbui (Kathiani), Owen Baya (Kilifi North), Sylvanus Osoro (South Mugirango), and Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu), among 9 others, received the First Class: Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear (CBS). Abdi Guliye and Boya Molu, two IEBC commissioners, were among 33 people to earn the Second Class: Elder of the Order of the Burning Spear (EBS). In addition to lawyer Taib Ali Taib and 70 other Kenyans, the Third Class: Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (MBS) was handed to IEBC CEO Marjan Hussein.

A total of 96 Kenyans earned the Head of State's Commendation, 13 were awarded the Silver Star of Kenya, and 128 were given the Order of the Grand Warrior (OGW) of Kenya (Military Division) A total of 101 Kenyans were honored in the Civilian Division of the Head of State's Commendation.
