Mwangi claims there is proof that DJ Fatxo and the Kasarani Police Station officers collaborated closely to try to cover up the crime.

According to a post by Mwangi on his Facebook page, "After killing Jeff, Fatxo and his accomplices went to the Kasarani Police Station where statements were recorded, but they were coached by unnamed officers."

The revelation has led to the inclusion of police officers who visited the scene of the crime as persons of interest by the DCI.
