Police Investigating Circumstances Leading to Dumbing of a Woman's Body in Ruiru

Police Officers have launched investigations after an unidentified body was found wrapped in a suitcase in the Kamakis area, Kiambu County.

According to reports, the unidentified body is believed to be of a young woman in her early twenties. The body was discovered by residents of Ruiru Constituency on Tuesday, afternoon April 18, 2023.

The body is said to be fresh, with an injury to the right side of the face and right eye.

As a result, police believe the deceased was murdered elsewhere and the body dumped in the area last night.

“Nobody has been able to identify the body; she looks like she was in her early twenties. There are no serious physical injuries apart from a slight one on the right side of her face, she may have been crushed on the wall,” DCIO Justus Ombati said.

The police officers from Ruiru Police Station are said to have gathered enough evidence to identify the body and then transferred it to City Mortuary for preservation pending autopsy.
