The three are alleged to have stopped two Afro Forex Bureau employees who were leaving Absa Bank on Mama Ngina Street after withdrawing KSh2 million.

At that point, Hassan Omar, a coworker of Mr. Mohammed's, raised the alarm, alerting the adjacent security personnel and the CIPU police defending the nearby Dahabshil Forex Bureau, who hurried to the scene.

A portion of the police report states, "While along Standard Street about 20 meters from their Forex bureau, they were confronted by four men who identified themselves as police officers and informed them that they were after the said Mohammed Hassan who was carrying the bag containing the money and that he was wanted for an offense which they did not disclose."

Police claim that in order to deal with all forms of criminality, they have improved operations in the city.

The police chief for Nairobi, Adamson Bungei, stated that an investigation is being conducted with the intention of taking action.
