Police Allegedly Shoot at Winnie Odinga’s car During the Maandamano in Nairobi

Azimio leader Raila Odinga’s daughter Winnie Odinga has earned the praise of Kenyans on social media after she accompanied her father Raila Odinga to the streets.  

This comes after the Kenya kwanza side dared Raila to take his kids to the protest accusing him of using Kenyans to protest while his own family was safe.  

In a video shared by the prime minister on his social media pages, Winnie is seen waving to the crowd on top of a vehicle as the procession made its way through Eastleigh.

The move has been welcomed by the supporters of the Azimio leader who feel that it proves that the entire Odinga family believes in the course of Raila.

However, Winnie’s vehicle was attacked and the windscreen shot at.  Raila Odinga has accused the government of showing animosity towards his daughter Winnie Odinga by attacking her vehicle.

Winnie’s participation in the protest is a blow to the Kenya kwanza divide who have been daring the opposition side to come with their children to the streets of Nairobi.
