Petrol Prices Remain Unchanged As Diesel And Kerosene Reduce By Ksh 2

The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced a decrease in Diesel and Kerosene prices as Petrol Prices Remain unchanged, in its latest monthly review.

The new Retail Prices for the petroleum update will take effect from November 15 to Thursday, December 14.

In its latest update, Diesel and Kerosene prices have experienced a marginal decrease of Ksh.2 per litre, now retailing at Ksh.203.47 and Ksh.203.06, respectively.

Meanwhile, consumers of Super Petrol still feeling the pinch as the prices remain at a hefty cost of Ksh 217.

The latest prices are a move by the Government to cushion consumers from the spike in pump prices as a result of increased landed costs.

The EPRA statement “The Government has opted to stabilize pump prices for the November- December 2023 pricing cycle.”

EPRA statement, says that the national treasury has identified resources to compensate Oil Marketing companies.
