ODM MP Calls For Speaker Wetangula’s Resignation

Saboti Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi has called for the resignation of National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula.

In a statement on his X account, Amisi blamed Wetangula for presiding over the passing of the Finance Bill 2024 while Gen Zs and other Kenyans were being killed outside the precincts of Parliament because of that same bill.

The lawmaker said that Parliament had been destroyed due to the blood of Finance Bill 2024 protestors outside the buildings.

He further blamed Wetangula for passing the contentious KDF deployment hurriedly without proper procedures, reportedly passed in almost 30 minutes.

Amisi also said that in the chaos that happened as parliamentarians were trying to escape from the protestors who had entered Parliament, Wetangula was running faster than a gazelle in an ambulance, leaving Nominated MP Jackson Kosgei stranded inside.

He also claimed that the Speaker has a satanic heart.

Amisi has therefore asked the Speaker to never preside over any other sitting before issuing an apology and tendering a resignation letter.

The MP has for long been critical of the Kenya Kwanza regime and also Speaker Wetangula.
