Man Stealing Women Underwear Arrested In Kericho

A man who has been stealing womens's underwear in Kericho was apprehended by angry residents after a panty fell out of his pocket.

Residents now claim that women in the area had been complaining about the mysterious disappearance of their inner garments from hanging lines and bathrooms.

This prompted residents to hold an emergency meeting in order to identify the perpetrator .

After a public meeting in the village, the accused who works as a construction worker in the area was with his friend by the river but  he disappeared and allegedly broke into a homestead and stole inner garments from the women in a near by   house before rejoining his friend at the river.

Initially, the man's companion did not think much of the suspect's disappearance, believing that the accused was simply relieving himself in the surrounding thickets.

When the suspect returned to the river to join his friend,  a panty dropped off the suspect's jacket, and his companion alerted the neighborhood .

When the suspect was examined at Chagoror Trading Center by the locals, numerous pairs of underpants were discovered within his pockets.

The man then took the locals to his home, where they discovered additional women's undergarments.

After a woman correctly identified one of the panties as her own, enraged villagers attacked the offender with blows. Residents were baying for his blood, but the man managed to escape

The perpetrator had allegedly been apprehended for the same vice in Kuresoi Nakuru county, before being excommunicated from the region, according to the man's kin.
