A young man stabbed to death by his roommate after selling his mattock without his consent in Korompoi, Isinya Sub-County in Kajiado County.
On Thursday 19 January, the two roommates engaged in a long argument that turned into a bloody scene.
Neighbours who witnessed the incident confirmed it, saying that the two young guys got into a quarrel after the deceased claimed to have sold the equipment due to an emergency.
They added that the disturbance ceased a few minutes after and that the "suspected thief" was later discovered dead inside the rental home's grounds.
The two youthful men had lived together for a period of one year in a single-room house as they worked in construction manual jobs.

Although the murderer is presently on the run, authorities are determined to catch the culprit.
According to Isinya Sub-County Police Commander Ancient Nzioka, the police officers are on the look for the killer who is well known.
Nzioka went ahead to ask locals to find peaceful means of resolving their differences among themselves.
"It does not matter if one has proved to have been wronged. You are not supposed to take the law into your hands. That is a criminal offence," he warned.
The body of the deceased has been moved to Kitengela Sub-County hospital as investigations commence.
