Love Gone Sour as 21-year-old girl Stabs Boyfriend who wanted to end their romantic relationship

A 21-year-old female student at Bomet University on Sunday is alleged to have stabbed her boyfriend in the chest after the young man made it clear that their romantic relationship had come to an end.

The news appeared to have broken the lady's heart, prompting her to seek justice for her broken heart.

Lucy Ogweno is said to have gone to see her boyfriend in the Sewage residential area of Bomet town with a friend. The minute they got in the house the 25-year-old man called it quits.

Following the pronouncement of the boyfriend, the lady pulled a knife that she had hidden in her innerwear and stabbed the young man  who collapsed and fell down.

The lady who accompanied her stopped her from doing any further damage and raised an alarm, attracting the attention of other residents in the area.

Bomet Central sub-county deputy police commandant Bashir Ali stated that they have arrested the suspect and will be going through further interrogation.

The 25- year-old man is currently undergoing treatment at Tenwek hospital in Bomet County.
