A lot will be at stake tonight as Chelsea take on Tottenham Hotspurs tonight in a catch-up Premier League match at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues come into the match after coming from two-goals down to secure a draw against Aston Villa on Saturday. Chelsea are looking to qualify for Europe and need to get maximum points from their two games in hand.
Chelsea currently sit ninth on the log and victory tonight will help them move from ninth to eighth with 51 points. This would mean they would be 2 points off seventh spot which qualifies for the Conference league.
For Ange Postecoglou, Spurs need to win all their 2 games in hand and hope Aston Villa stumble so that they can qualify for the Champoins League. Spurs are fifth with 60 points, 7 points behind Villa.
Chelsea will be without the services of Axel Disasi, Malo Gusto, Raheem Sterling and Thiago Silva for tonight’s game.
In the first leg of this game this season, Chelsea thrashed Tottenham 4-1 at the New Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium.
Spurs will be looking to bounce back after losing 3-2 to Arsenal on Sunday.
