Just like a phoenix, Felix Orinda best known as DJ Evolve seems to be rising from the ashes after three years of eager anticipation of whether he will regain his old self back.

DJ Evolve was left in a Vegetative state after being shot while in a club by city politician Babu Owino three years ago leaving him paralyzed.

The long journey to recovery seems to be bearing fruits after it appeared like the renowned Disk Jockey could be slowly returning to whom he used to be, a healthy and active person.

According to sources seen by look up tv digital, DJ Evolve is now able to speak after a long battle with his health.

In an interview with the media, Felix Orinda stated that he never imagined the day would come when he would be thrilled to hear himself speak as an adult.

“I was really surprised when I spoke my first words because I was doubting. My first words were my name. I have never been excited like this before. It's good to be normal. It is way better than before when I could only communicate through texting via WhatsApp and messages. But I know I can call my people and chat,” Evolve said.

This comes after an eight-hour surgery on March 6, 2023, during which he was unable to speak until today.

Despite the fact that he is still in a wheelchair, the DJ appears to be optimistic about his recovery terming it as ‘Baby Steps.’

NARC-Kenya party leader Martha Karua, along with his die-hard supporters, welcomed the good news and wished him a speedy recovery.

Martha Karua tweeted: “Great news wish him a full recovery.”
