Kitengela Man Kills Girlfriend By Stabbing

According to reports, a 24-year-old man from Kitengela in Kajiado County fatally stabbed his 23-year-old fiancée five times before he turned the knife on himself and committed suicide. The couple's bodies were sent to the morgue at Shalom Community Hospital in Athi River. According to the police, the event happened on December 21st, Wednesday night, in the woman's one-bedroom home.

According to Kitengela DCI officer Benson Mutiya, the woman's building's caretaker, Paul Kanaika, reported the crime on Thursday, December 22 in the early hours. The caregiver claimed that he hadn't observed the woman leaving her home as usual, according to Mutiya. The DCI officer continued, "He claimed to have peered into the woman's home on the fifth story of the building and seen two bodies—those of the renter and her lover.

The caretaker reported that the boyfriend's body was in the bathroom and the man's was in the living room. According to preliminary findings, the woman had suffered five stab wounds, whilst the guy had only had one chest wound. Kitengela DCI officer Benson Mutiya said, "We retrieved a kitchen knife thought to have been used in the apparent murder-suicide."

According to preliminary findings, the dead named only as Chepng'eno's boyfriend was the man identified only as Kibet. One of the neighbors claimed that "the man visited his girlfriend on a daily basis." Police stated that additional inquiries are still being conducted into the young couple's deaths.
