A court in Kajiado has ordered a ten days detention of a woman who stabbed her two-year-old daughter to death before dissecting her and feeding on her internal organs.
Olivia Naserian appeared before the chief magistrate, Jane Kamau on the 25th of April who ordered her to be detained for ten days in police custody to enable police officers to investigate the matter.
It is alleged that Naserian, a 24 years old lady and a fourth-year commerce student at a local university murdered her daughter glory Njeri after a break-up with Njeri’s father
The shocking incident was recorded on video by neighbours who tried to break the door but did not manage.
The neighbours said that this incident took place when Naserian’s parents who live in the same house with her were away. Reports say that by the time the parents got back the toddler was already dead and Naserian had collapsed.
Neighbours who witnessed the incident reported to the police officers after their attempt to break in was futile.
Police said that Olivia killed her daughter Glory Njeri by cutting her into pieces and eating her intestines and kidney on the 23rd of April.
The remains of Glory Njeri have been taken to a local mortuary while the police plan to take Olivia Naserian to the hospital for mental tests before the hearing of her case which is set to be on 6th of May.
