KICC Terror Suspect Found Guilty

Victor Bwire, a suspect who conspired with terrorists to blow up the iconic Kenyatta international convention centre KICC in 2019, was found guilty by Milimani senior principal magistrate Bernard Ochoi.

Bwire was found guilty of all charges, conspiracy to commit a terrorist attack and collection and dissemination of information for the purpose of committing a terror attack at KICC.

Principal magistrate Bernard Ochoi further found that the prosecution had proved the two counts beyond a reasonable doubt.

During the hearing, it was revealed that Bwire had three Facebook accounts that he used to collect and disseminate information to Somalia.

Forensic analysis of Bwire’s phones further revealed he had sent information on KICC’s security arrangement to his contacts in Somalia.
