Kenya's Ferdinand Omanyala Eyes to Shine at the Diamond League in Morocco

Ferdinand Omanya is yet again expected to make the country proud in Morocco this Sunday. Omanyala who reigned at the Kipkeino Classic will be hitting the tracks in Rabat Morocco.

The World Champion Fred Kerley of USA, Trayvon Bromell World Bronze medalist, 2011 World Champion Yohan Blake from Jamaica, Letsile Tebogo from Botswana and a six-time Olympic medalist, Andre De Grasse and many more, will be facing the Kenyan athlete Omanyala in a tense pressured game in Morocco.

Olympic winner Marcell Jacobs of Italy dropped out of the race due to an injury. 

The Commonwealth Games Champion is confident to emerge the best at the Rabat Diamond League. Despite the quality of the opposition in the running track Omanyala is confident that his focus is on the price and not his opponents.

The Kenyan athlete will look to control every 100m that he will be competing in this year.

He will face an elite field in the Moroccan capital, including well-known rivals like world champion American Fred Kerley and Trayvon Bromell.

He has a personal best of 9.77 sec and a world lead of 9.84 sec despite the loss he had at the Tokyo Games final this athlete is more than ready to win the race.

The race will take place in Rabat, Morocco at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex on Sunday.
