Kenya Kwanza MPs have maintained that they will not go against the constitution during bipartisan talks between the MPs and those from the Azimio coalition.
The MPs led by the National Assembly majority leader Kimani Ichungwa and the leader of the majority in the Senate Aaron Cheruiyot stated that the committee selected to hold talks on behalf of the Kenya Kwanza administration will stick to the constitution.
"The instructions that our team have are to limit their conversations on the matters that are of high concern to the people of Kenya regarding the IEBC in regards to the bipartisan committee," said Aaron Cheruiyot.
The MPs castigated the opposition concerning the demand by Raila Odinga to the government to open the IEBC server asking them to uphold the rule of law.
"This parliament has asserted that we have no key to open any server other than the key to open economic servers to reinstate our economy where it opts to be.'' Kimani Ichungwa.
The committee that will represent the Kenya Kwanza in a bipartisan includes Boni Khalwale, George Murugara, Essy Okenyuri, Mwengi Mutuse, Lydia Haika, Adan Keynan, and Hillary Sigei.
