Kayole Ladies who are at a threat to be relegated, conceded a defeat of 4-0 from Kisumu All Starlets at a match hosted at KCB Grounds, Nairobi. Kisumu All Starlets midfielder Rosemary Oraro scored a goal while the super striker Monicah Etot scored a hat trick to sum up the goals to four.
Kisumu All Starlets coach Juma Said made it clear that their target is winning against the relegation-threatened teams.
“Today’s win is part of our plans to win against teams in the relegation zone. The plan has worked today and we are out of the relegation bracket. We are now looking forward to our next match against Zetech Sparks, which is a tough match”.
Esther Mazira, Kanyole Ladies’ captain says they hope for the best since they had lost all the nine games.
“Despite losing we got a lot of chances that we didn’t maximize to get good results, our opponents got their opportunities and used them. Losing is not easy, as we are going through financial constraints as a team”.
“We are going to start from zero now, and we hope to get incredible results in the coming matches”.
Kisumu All Starlets are in position nine at the table standing with 10 points while Kayole Ladies are at the bottom with zero points.
