Relegation threatened Everton have finally parted ways with manager Frank Lampard after a run of poor performances most recently a 2-0 defeat in the hands of West Ham. The Toffees are winless in 10 games in all competitions.

Everton are currently 19th on the log with 15 points from 20 games winning their last game in October last year against Crystal Palace at home.

The former Chelsea legend and manager was appointed to replace Rafael Benitez in January 2022 but leaves Goodison park with Everton level on points with bottom club Southampton.

Lampard’s sacking comes at a time when the Merseyside outfit fight to avoid playing outside the top flight for the first time since 1954.

Last season Lampard survived the sack after the toffees secured Premier League status courtesy of a 3-3 win against Crystal Palace, coincidentally, the last team they won against this season.

Sean Dyche, Marcelo Bielsa and Brentford’s Thomas Frank among the potential candidates to replace Lampard who won only 12 of his 44 games while at the helm.

Lampard's dismissal follows Everton owner Farhad Moshiri attending his first match since October 2021 as the Toffees succumbed to defeat at the London Stadium - their third consecutive loss in the league.

Speaking to Sky Sports News after Everton's weekend defeat in London, Moshiri said "it's not my decision" when asked if Lampard's time was up, while the head coach insisted he remained focused on the challenge at hand in his final post-match interview.

Everton are set to face Arsenal, Liverpool and Leeds in their next three premier League Matches as the hunt for a new boss begins.

However, the big question remains, will Everton Survive and maintain their Premier League Status this season?
