With over 2.1 million candidates who sat for this year’s KCPE, which involved 28,408 center managers, 28,727 supervisors, 74,990 invigilators, and 5,647 examiners CS education Machogu revealed that the exams were carried out under the highest academic standards.
These two million pupils can now access their KCPE results through the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) website, SMS platforms, county education offices, and their respective schools. All they need for them to access the results is their index number which will have to cost them twenty-five shillings.
Students are also advised not to have spacing between the index number and the initials KCPE. To check the results via SMS, students and their parents are asked to send the candidate's index number followed by the initials KCPE (in capital letters) to 20076. Ensure there are no spaces between the index number and the initials KCPE.
This is the second-last edition of the KCPE examinations before the 8-4-4 system of education is completely phased out of the primary school curriculum next year. All the pupils who sat for the 2022 KCPE results will have a direct transition to high school.
“All the candidates whose results I am releasing today will be admitted to Form One, under the 100 percent transition policy,” CS Machogu stated.
